This wiki supports a university-wide, collaborative effort coordinated by the Project Management Office of The City University of New York to establish a CUNY presence on iTunes U. The project encompasses the university and its 23 colleges and schools.
One Project, Two Tracks
1. CUNY University Relations is sponsoring the effort to focus on public and community affairs missions of the university to inform, teach, and promote the university, its colleges, schools, institutes and programs to its various constituencies, including students, faculty, prospective students, staff, alumni and the public at large in the City of New York, the United States and beyond;

2. CUNY Academic Affairs is sponsoring the effort to bring together the vast and able resources of the university's faculties, academic technologists, Centers for Excellence in Teaching & Learning, and students to develop a body of best practices, to identify technologies and processes and to integrate the university's Learning Management System with the iTunes U platform in ways that enhance teaching and learning.
- The Wiki - Read only access to this wiki is available to all on the Internet. Contributor access, which allows readers to add and modify wiki content is restricted to project participants, stakeholders and others with an interest in the project. If you have questions concerning this wiki, click on the Project Management link in the sidebar on the right to contact the project manager or wiki owner.
- The Discussion Groups - The discussion groups, one for the Teaching and Learning track and one for the Community, Public Affairs track, are by invitation only and are only viewable by members of the group. Their functions are to support discussion, collaboration, and the identification of knowledge and practices relevant to the iTunes U project and rich media in general.
- The Teaching & Learning Track - Pages for the academic track, while always accessible through the search or "all-pages" listing facilities of the wiki, are appropriately grouped and associated with the home page of the teaching & learning track.
